Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Prime Focus mobile application for Android (Package: com.etla.primefocus, Version 1.1.7), developed and operated by Elanova Studios ("we", "us", or "our").

Prime Focus is an offline-first productivity suite featuring Focus Timers, Collections, Time Laps breakdowns, Schedules, Notifications, and optional Premium feature tiers.

Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Prime Focus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

No user account creation is required to use Prime Focus. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are not authorized to use Prime Focus and must delete the application from your device.

Using Prime Focus

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Elanova Studios grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and use Prime Focus on compatible Android devices for your personal, non-commercial productivity purposes.

Offline Data & Network Connectivity

Prime Focus core productivity tools operate completely offline using local device storage (Room DB and DataStore Preferences).

• Local Data Control: Your productivity logs, Collection titles, and focus statistics remain strictly on your physical device.
• Network Usage: Active network access (INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) is required exclusively for verifying Google Play purchase licenses and serving in-app advertisements via Google AdMob in the free tier.
• Data Removal & Recovery: Uninstalling the application or clearing Android app storage permanently removes locally saved productivity records. Elanova Studios cannot recover deleted local data as we do not operate cloud backup servers.
• User Backup Responsibility: Users remain responsible for maintaining backups provided by their own device or operating system if they wish to preserve local data across device upgrades.

Premium Subscriptions & Ad-Free Options

Prime Focus offers optional paid Premium Subscriptions (Monthly or Annual plans) and a one-time Lifetime Purchase tier to unlock advanced productivity features and remove all advertisements.

Purchasing any Premium access tier grants you an ad-free experience for the active duration of your subscription or lifetime entitlement.

Payments, Renewals & Refunds

All financial transactions, recurring subscription renewals, cancellations, and refund requests are processed through Google Play Billing (v8.0.0) and governed directly by Google Play Store policies.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Google Play Store account settings prior to the renewal date. Elanova Studios does not directly store credit card details, process monetary transactions, or issue manual refunds.

Device Permissions & System Features

Prime Focus requests Android system permissions strictly to provide local functionality and licensing:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to deliver focus reminders and session completion alerts.
• Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to trigger focus alarms at precise scheduled times.
• Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): Required to maintain accurate continuous timer counting when the app is in the background or minimized.
• Network Access (INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to process Google Play Billing license verification and retrieve AdMob ad assets.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of Prime Focus and for complying with all applicable local and international laws. You maintain responsibility for physical device security and managing your local device storage.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited actions:

• Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the application software.
• Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works of Prime Focus or its brand assets.
• Circumventing, disabling, or tampering with digital licensing, in-app advertisements, or Google Play purchase verification through unauthorized third-party mods or patches.
• Transmitting malicious code or viruses into or through the application environment.
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with Elanova Studios.

Intellectual Property

Elanova Studios retains all right, title, and interest in and to Prime Focus, including its software code, interface design, branding, and copyrightable assets.

You retain complete ownership of all productivity content, Collection names, Time Lap records, and Schedules created locally on your device.

Disclaimer

Prime Focus is a productivity and time management application. It is not intended to provide medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRIME FOCUS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. ELANOVA STUDIOS DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELANOVA STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS OR DEVICE DAMAGE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE PRIME FOCUS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR PRIME FOCUS PURCHASES IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

Application Updates

The developer reserves the right to modify, improve, suspend, or update features of Prime Focus at any time to enhance performance, reliability, or policy compliance.

Changes to These Terms

If these Terms & Conditions change, the updated version will be published with a new Effective Date on this page. Your continued use of Prime Focus after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
